This is the place where I am going to plant my new Rhododendron, as soon as it is not raining, and I can dig the hole and add the compost. See my mean looking fork leaning against the house. Maybe it will get in there a loosen up the clay the builders left after they scrapped all the top soil off, when building all these cookie cutter houses. I think the Rhodie will do ok after I add some compost to help break up the clay. And then I'll pile up mulch from trees that Rhodies love to have as neighbors.
